Remember, every other FOTM slam hybrid also has reduced shieldness, which is something Thanes never really NEEDED in the first place. Thanes, however, have one of the most amazing spell damage lines to fall back on, as well as one of the best damage dumps in the game with WoC and Chain Lightning. I don't remember ever being able to /roll a rr5+ thane. you need atleast rr5 to get chain lighting plus you need prob rr7-8 to rightfully spec WOC into your ra's without totally gimping your defense and not to mention how EASY it ISN'T to land a block stun when you have 1400+ WS. and by the time you finally get around to doing it your opponent purges and you die. and REMEMBER dual wield got a boost to penetrate sheild... ding ding.. they are good.. just not Really good anymore.. -----signature----- too many
