Gave in and decided to 2-box a BuffBot for Gaheris play.... Need some suggestions? |
Wondering which combo of Bot + Some form of melee, to experience the most of what I can solo on Gaheris. (Solo being 2boxing).
Guessing a Shaman and probably a tank of some kind. I did an Enchanter the last time I played and did pretty well, but it was pretty boring. Any recommendations on a melee?

id go with warrior. they are on the highest damage table of all melee and they can use 2h with no penalty, though no bonus either. they are flat out beasts and as far as melee damage goes they are pretty solid.

archer/warden is awesome. Very versatile just about anywhere and anything you want to fight.
Cabby/Chanter w/ a cleric is nice as well for focus pulling. SM included if you go the split spec for focus and pet charm.

I recently did Chan with a savage/cleric. Popped Excal and between the little dmg chan did and the health drain from savagery, I only had to heal twice.
edit: Most of the health drain was from endo heal because I forgot to bring invigs.

spear valk + shaman
also chan is tethered so you can melee it down with anything as long as you have a heal bot

No, they'll still do more damage. They just may not survive as well
