You're reading it wrong. The merge IS happening, what's moving isn't set in stone.
Is VN disappearing for good or are just some of the boards getting moved? I mean there is so much conflicting information from official people I can't really tell what is going on so I'd love it if you could explain what exactly is going to happen.

VN is being merged into IGN, but they can't move all the boards. Only 5-10 will get moved. 5 definitely, 10 at a stretch. PM's won't transfer, neither will registration date. We don't know about post counts yet, but we're hoping they will.
I don't know if VN will be left as an archive or what yet, we're only in the "this is happening, what to do" stage.

Ah, well the IGN forums are crap compared to VN so I guess at that point you guys will stop getting my traffic. It's a shame really, I still enjoy posting here quite a bit.

What's it to you how I talk to Saxona? I have zero respect for the child so of course I'm going to demand a source for such a claim as this thread.
