You didn't offer me money, you offered me game time. That would still be giving money to a company that has a terrible CS department and a greedy billing department and I have no interest in supporting that kind of behavior in a company.

For one of the accounts, and it took them over a month to do it. I've decided not to even bother trying to get the other account's monthly fee back because that would require dealing with their terrible CS department again.
Also yes, even though they gave me some of the money back they are still greedy. If a thief gives back something they steal they are still a thief, the same applies here.

They probably did it because you are so annoying. I doubt it was actually because they were in the wrong. I work in customer service, we do this kind of stuff all the time.
(Disclaimer: Don't take the following as an implication of what I think you're like)
It's actually quite disturbing. Some customers are actually rewarded for their astounding ineptitude, because we don't want to create a negative image of the company in their eyes. It pays off, though, I suppose. The fact that they're complete morons means they probably aren't that good with money, meaning if they look at us in a positive light, their irresponsible spending habits will go in our direction.

Why would I take that as an implication of what I'm like? I think I've demonstrated I'm not like that by refusing to even let you pay for my DAoC account.

You've also demonstrated that I command more respect here than you do when you actually provide the proof I request even after your failed attempt at trying to anger me. Also I'd like you to know, not because you've earned enough respect to warrant this but merely to rub it in your face, I did indeed get the refund for the free month I was supposed to receive.
