Didnt read it all, but I skimmed through it.
And my question to you is, why are you excited that people are losing their religion?

I've seen this in a few newspapers 'round here, they keep quoting this bit too:
"this pattern has now changed, and the Northeast emerged in 2008 as the new stronghold of the religiously unidentified."
In a local paper here (Boston) they run informal surveys, you text your answer and they print it in the next days paper. The question was just "Are you a religious person? Yes/No" The response was like 46% of people consider themselves non-religious, 56% consider themselves religious. I'm sure its more slanted in other parts of the country, but that makes me pretty happy to live in this town.

Surveys that count on people voluntarily texting or calling in information are invalid. Or unreliable, I forgot which. There is a difference when conducting experiments between invalidity and unreliability.

Which is why I said it was an informal survey.

This is a very long conversation, with a lot of debating, and a lot of alternatives that people would have to consider that isn't all roses.
