I'm in the same boat. I work 6pm - 6am. I will be paid 13 hours for that night. I'd make sure to keep track of your hours for the pay period that that day will be included in, however....just to make sure you get the right amount of hours.

That is one nice thing, the Kronos system takes all of the hours and places them on the day you actually swiped in, so all 13 hours should get counted on Saturday. Of course, Sundays are the laggy day for clock-to-system transfers, so after I swiped out that morning it didn't show my out punch, so I won't know WHAT I actually got paid for until I go back to work on Wednesday...

You didn't think before you posted this did you?

You lose an hour when you set the clocks forward.

Yes, but he'd gain an hour of pay. By being there from 6 pm to 6 am he would only be there for 11 yet get paid for 12.

Eshrad wasn't on nights during the spring anyway, so it doesn't even matter, but Qwikk spoke correctly.

I think you should get paid for the extra hour. If the payroll computers won't recognize it that way, then you should get an hour of comp time or something then.

you can bet your bottom dollar you wouldn't get paid extra in the spring, so you should get the extra hour in the fall.

Yeah right. I seriously doubt any company will pay someone 12 hours of pay for 11 hours of work.

But how do you know when to change your underwear? Mine would wear off if I didn't change them 2x per year!
