There are two reasons I drink energy drinks. 1. Hangover remedy. 2. Friday pre-party prep. If I've been up since 5:15 a.m. I want to be able to stay up late enough to enjoy the party.
Red Bull is best for the hangover remedy since it's effects don't last very long. Monster is best for pre-party because it fills you up and it's effects lasts much longer.
I find an 8 ounce glass of water before and after your partying can have the same effect.

Big glass of water and some Tylenol before bed.
Grease and salt in the morning.

Other than 1 small taste when they were first introduced, I've never tried an *energy drink*.
