I tried the 5 hour energy shot thing ONCE.
I felt great for about an hour. Then I started to get tired, and feel really like... flu-ish. I actually developed a fever and laid down to get rest, but couldn't sleep, but couldn't get up to do anything either.
Turns out that if you have a vitamin B deficiency, like I apparently have, it will overload your system. I haven't even tried one since, so I'm not sure if it was a one time thing.
edit: btw, Red Bull doesn't affect me at all, and caffeine makes me sleepy. So I'm probably not a normal person to ask about this stuff

I drank 1 energy drink several years ago, and I thought my heart was going to explode.
This coming from a person that can drink 10 cups of coffee with ease in a day.
Never again.
I've heard of stories of people rushing to the ER after having brutal reactions to energy drinks.
