The last time I went out I managed to hit the pin off the tee but the ball didn't drop down. It bounced off  I lost it and had to take a penalty stroke.

You just have got to have the time to get decent and not play once or twice a year. Then it is fun, but time consuming.

One of the many reasons why golf is awesome. You can make the "perfect" hit then something happens and you are screwed. It's a very challenging but very rewarding sport. I need new irons

I made a hole-in-one a few years back and whacked the next shot right into the water. That's golf.
