This isn't sounding so crazy right about now. One more game is they are in. Heck of a story going on here.

The Jets could be on a Steelers circa '05 run, but even then Ben was in his second year, and they were better than a 9 win team that backed their way into the playoffs. I just don't feel it for the Jets this year. Running the ball and good defense is the ticket to being a really good team, but the NFL is not moving more and more to a pass first league for nothing. Eventually they will run into a team that will score 21-28 points on them, and I don;t think they will be able to keep up. Turnovers are the great equalizer, and I guess they only need the breaks to go their way two more games, but I wouldn't put any amount of money on it.

best point of the thread! if its not the Colts this weekend, its going to be the Vikes/Saints...and all of those teams have the offense to test their D, its a great D...but not one to keep these teams from the endzone multiple times.

the Ravens beat the Patriots week one despite completing 4 passes total the whole game and scored 33 points a week earlier while only having 200some yards on offense

it's not entirely impossible, I think they can beat the Colts next weekend, however I also see either Minnesota or New Orleans entirely overwhelming them

do you remember the start that Manning had the year he had surgery? its the same start that Brady had as well, once he worked out the kinks they went on a run...just like the Colts did. i wouldnt put that much importance on wins in the beginning of the season...Brady had a good year, just that Belichek traded the "D" away...losing their pass rush hurt them in so many ways, imo.

oh...well, i guess i didnt research the Pats schedule either..so im at fault as well. that game was just lost from the first play...Rice's run, was just a small example of what they were going to face. Brady wasnt sharp and took his beatings all day. i do feel that the loss of Welker hurt, but it wouldnt have made much of a difference.

the Pats dynasty is over, Beli...needs to have a great draft and some top shelf workings with his current free agents..they need a pass rush! and a better running game, this crap of platooning 5 RB's is crap. i dont mind that they suck, hell...most can tell how i feel about the Pats via my sig. but would like to see them competitive so the Colts/Pats rivalry can continue.

Dont count the Patriots out yet. They have stock piled draft picks the past couple of years. Belli knows how to rebuild, they will not be down long. I look for them to win the AFC East again next season.
