For today my picks would be Baltimore by 6, and Green Bay by 10.

New England is not the same New England of old, and without Welker to be their move the sticks guy, they could struggle on offense. Baltimore is pretty hot right now, they are running smooth in all phases. I see New England running into some trouble at home later today. The X factor as always will be Randy Moss, if he gets his catches and a couple deep bombs the game could go the Patriots way.

Green Bay is about as hot a team as you can find in the league. Hot teams are nearly impossible to stop. That was my mistake in underestimating Dallas last night. Green Bay should easily handle an injury depleted Arizona team. I also think homefield advantage is overrated now days. Last year I believe that two away teams won in the Wildcard round, and going back to '07 I believe three away teams won in the wildcard round.

im going with the Pats even though i would like to see them lose (see signature)...i really feel as long as you have Moss/Brady its game on, and since this is the Playoffs at foxboro...forget about it.

the Arizona/GB game im still on the fence, Boldin is questionable last i looked, he hopes to play...and i really believe this game is going to all about Warner and if he comes to play like he can. GB is one of those teams that could give the NFC a scare...but wouldnt it be nice to see the Vikes and GB hit it off one more time for the NFC Championship...talk about a ratings inferno!

even though GB gave away that game to start it off and it ended up biting them in the end

I still feel the need to whine about some of the lack of calls going on in that game

Jolly gets tackled into Warner, and during the same play Fitzgerald knocks Woodson over and is of course wide open there

well obviously the logical call there is roughing the passer!

and how about in OT there you had the one call which was obviously a holding, but how about Rodgers getting gd slammed helmet to helmet no call? WTF

I think the woodson thing was incidental contact. It would appear that Larry went to do a cut back to the inside and woodson happened to be moving in the exact opposite direction. I could be wrong, but that is the impression I got when I saw the play. The roughing the passer call was because of a blow to the head, ref probally didn't see that he got blocked into him, but not even sure if it makes a difference with a blow to the head. That was a very wierd play. Packers shot themselves in the foot at the begining of the game, but played hard and came back to tie it up. The better question is what was up with that Arizona field goal at the end of the game? That thing was one of the worst kicks I have seen in my life.

and that play towards the end of regulation when Finley was starting to get back up and the arizona player shoves him back down while 2 refs look right at it and do nothing?

btw yes I do realize they shot themselves in the foot to start the game

that was because Finley was shoving the Arizona player off of his legs (probably talking smack as well) prior to trying to get up =/

Honestly you have pointed out a few spots in the game where the refs missed a call or two, but if you look closely you can find spots in the game where the refs missed a call or two that would have gone against Green Bay. Alot of times missed calls tend to balance out in the game. A good example is a few years back a steelers fan going into an argument with me over the Jags-Steelers playoff game when the refs missed a holding call on the Jaguars on that critical 4th and two play. Not more than 3 mins earlier the Steelers got a touchdown because they called Pass interference on the Jaguars D back even though Hines ward was the one making contact and infact had a hold of the Jaguar players face mask. They might miss a call for your team, but chances are at some point they missed a call against your team. That is why I like the leave the refs out of the excuses, almost never are they a direct factor in a team losing the game.

While Rex Ryan is a dope for the most part you have to admit its ironic that 1 year in the league as a head coach he did something his father was never able to do: Win a Playoff Game. :o

Thank you to the Jets. For making New Yorkers hope for the unreasonable. I love it when New Yorkers have their hopes destroyed.
