I don't know why everyone cares so much about Peyton... he is a non-issue once playoffs roll around. He is the league's biggest choke artist.

Yeah you are definitely right about that Caledric. He is now 9-10 in the postseason. I will give him credit for winning a Superbowl, atleast he was able to do what Marino never could, but it is hard to put him much higher than Marino, because other than that one fluke year, he always seems to find a way to lose it for his team.

Really? Because I didn't see him on the kickoff coverage unit allowing a return to midfield, nor did I see him on defense allowing clock-consuming long drives to the Jets. Its a goddamn team effort and the fact that you keep putting the loss(es) completely on Peyton only proves to show your own ignorance, or bitterness over "his" stomping of the Jaguars year in and year out.

i have chalked it up to those who hate Manning will always hate Manning...its a team effort and imo, i didnt have a lot of faith going into these playoffs. #2 receiver of Garcon has dropped a lot of passes, Reggie Wayne was shut down by Revis, Blair White (who in the hell is he before this season) is the one shiny receiver that we have had this season. our TE situation of Tamme is solid surprise after Clark went down. and our O line is not what it was.

i have been reading a lot of stuff in the past few days and i can agree with some of what has been said. i do think that Manning needs to relinquish some contol that he has on the offense...i think he might be taking on too much and getting some help might relieve some stress. imo, he is the best...he reads the D's like no one else, the amount of respect that other teams give him is ridiculous...but i do think this is his un-doing.

i was soo tired of everyone saying how over-rated he is and how he is nothing because he doesnt have a ring...then he won. i remember putting on my hard hat here in the steel mill "STFU COLTS WIN" just because of all the naysayers out there...now its all about his legacy. how many rings will he have or wont have. as a fan i would love to see at least one or two more...do i think that will happen? possibly, but a lot has to channge like getting a run O, and a decent run stopping D...although our D does ramp it up later in the season...never figured that one out.

point being Manning is a amazing QB, most teams would trade anything to get him or have him as their QB...hell, most QB's are measured to Manning or Brady. but those who hate him because he is good, will continue their hate till they have their way with him.

Your right he wasn't on that kickoff coverage, but he did underthrow that pass to White which would have allowed the Colts offense to run the clock down and kick a walk off game winning field goal. Make that completion and there would have been no kickoff to talk about. The simple fact of the matter is that a quarterback gets the credit when his team does well, and the quarterback gets the blame when his team doesn't do so well. The Colts continually settled for field goals, and since Manning does do alot of the play calling on offense, he should get his fair share of blame. That fact of the matter is that Peyton Manning led teams almost always choke in the playoffs.
