You have not given me too much crap over the years Juzam, so I wont hit you too hard with revenge about what happened today. I dont feel a bit of pity for Mizzou after today though. My facebook and cellphone was blown up the past two years with insulting text from Mizzou fans about VCU and UNI, well Mizzou is learning that what goes around comes around and today it just came around for Mizzou. A few Norfolk State images will come coming sometime soon, even if KU happens to lose to Detroit tonight like some neutral people are predicting.

Actually in all seriousness, I do feel a bit of sympathy for you I guess. I mean I have been against the basketball set up for many years because of the crap shoot that is March Madness. In a double elimination format MU would still be a Final Four team. Now you know how it feels to be completely blindsided by a nobody when you know with every fiber of your body that you are going to make the Final Four.

All in all it was a good day. Upset that my second tier schools Wichita State and Michigan played their way out of the tournament, but I am still sitting ok in the bracket competition. A little surprised at the number of second day upsets. Normally you see several upsets on Thursday and a few early on Friday and then it fizzles out in the first round. It was almost completely opposite this time, with almost no upsets Thursday and a plethora of upsets today. Two number two seeds falling in the same day within hours of each other was crazy. It has happened four times in over twenty years heading into the tournament and it happened twice within hours today.

Duke losing early was expected, I said they were the favorite two seed to lose this weekend. Mizzou was a legitimate surprise, I really did think they were an elite eight lock and a great Final Four pick. Completely stunned by the Mizzou loss, but it was a very enjoyable surprise. Syracuse will lose to K-State tomorrow, take that to the bank and cash it now. Syracuse is done. North Carolina is a sure bet to play a week from Sunday, take that to the bank as well. Kentucky-Iowa State might be the one surprise of the day, dont count Iowa State out in that game. Kansas-Purdue is going to be a very interesting game. Expect Kansas to win that game, but Purdue will put up a fight and it should be a tight game. Ohio State and Michigan State will cake walk into next weekend.

Pretty crazy that Ohio has four teams in the sweet sixteen. I still only believe that Ohio State will make the Final Four of all the Ohio teams. Good mix of chalk and upsets this past weekend. Going to be a fun second weekend of basketball, I am excited to watch the second weekend of games.

I wish the KU-UNC game was today. I need Ohio State to beat Syracuse for the bracket competition, but I would much rather have KU matchup with Syracuse in the Final Four than I would have them matchup with Ohio State. Dont know who to root for in this Ohio State-Syracuse game. Really upset that I changed my mind on Louisville beating Mizzou at the last second in the bracket competition. I really had a feeling Louisville might make a run to the Final Four, but just didnt think they could beat Mizzou. Will be an interesting couple of days, bracket competition is still wide open right now.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, my bracket is so screwed right now, but I dont even care. KU is in the Final Four, wow what a season. What a way to put VCU and UNI in the past by doing the improbable this season. Rock Chalk Jayhawk, KU! We still have one more pair of nets to cut down, lets bring home the Championship! Missouri out in the first game to a 15 seed, and KU on to the Final Four, this is about as great of a March as anyone could ever wish for. Its going to be an exciting week of classes next week.

Just got a student ticket to the Final Four, I am going to New Orleans this weekend! I am so pumped up, man I will completely lose it if KU wins the National Title while I am there to watch it in person, I cannot wait for this weekend. Still think Kentucky has to be the favorite to win it all at this point, but any of the three teams remaining can make a good game out of it, and it wont surprise me one bit to see Ohio State, Kansas, or Louisville walk out of New Orleans with a national title.

ill be cheering for Kentucky...only because i randomly picked him in my steel mill pool, and if i win its a $100. so go Wildcats...otherwise, i could care less...cant stand either teams in the final.

Its going to be an exciting game. On paper Kentucky should dominate this game. They are definitely more athletic than we are, they have the POY on their roster with a plethora of NBA draft picks playing for them tonight. I was in New Orleans for the game on Saturday and I can say that about 60-70 percent of that arena is filled with Kentucky fans. Everything tonight supports a Kentucky victory, but for some reason - perhaps its the fact I am a KU student - I just got a feeling deep in my gut that Kansas is going to win it tonight. Its the same feeling I had at halftime on Saturday, even down by nine I just knew deep in my core this team would pull it off. Hopefully it will be a great game, but win or lose I will not be disappointed in my Jayhawks who did what very few people outside the city of Lawrence thought they could do (including myself).
