The fact that they are/were so popular, just says a lot about our current society.

Amen! I hate seeing so many little girls wearing bright makeup and wearing way too revealing clothes. I've seen girls as young as 5 wearing makeup and dressing like prostitutes. It makes me sad. I'm afraid that seeing those girls makes me even more strict with how I allow my 6 year old to dress.
