I love how Mattel bought them out. And no, we are anti-Bratz at our house.

My granddaughters are getting 2 generations of Barbies, complete with clothes, furniture and accessories. My daughter is having a great time fixing them all up, but cringing over all the 80's outfits. Hahaha!

The girls will go nuts. We also have maybe, 20 or 25 still in the boxes. The collector ones. I have to stay away from the departments. I would buy Barbie every time, if I didn't.

Let me again state how glad I am that I have a boy. (He doesn't even like stuffed animals, only cars, trains, planes, blocks etc.)

I've been pretty much anti-Bratz here as well. I personally don't like the shows, much less the dolls and the fashions they were. So far my baby girl was the only one to show any interest in Bratz, but she LOVES Barbie so much more. My oldest, she just cringed looking at them and then went off in search of baby dolls when she was that age. Now she's into electronics...PSP for her this year. /sigh

I had one each, so we had a good taste of both boys and girls. I have to say, the granddaughters absolutely love all the matchbox cars we have. Those things have been a toy mainstay around here forever. I guess they even taste good.

Nope, I only have a boy but bratz would not be allowed in my house if we had a girl

Add me to the Anti-bratz crowd.

Hell, just their name is the wrong message I want to send to my little princess.

This.

Fortunately my girls aren't very interested in dolls in general, much less Bratz.

Barbie's always had big competitors in Britain...i preferred Sindy as a kid, and my daughter has always had a selection of different dolls, including Bratz. She wasn't bothered what type it was.

... she chopped the hair off all of them and made her own clothes for them anyway hehe usually by chopping up her own things!!!!!
