He's a beautiful little boy, Darwy.
It works the other way, too. Seems as though no child is safe from remarks from perfect strangers. Aime is smack dab in the 50th percentile for kids her age and people treat her like she's a two year old instead of a three year old.
I've heard comments ranging from, 'Wow, she's really potty trained early! Are you sure that's good for her?' to 'She's a smart little girl. Aren't you teaching your baby a little too fast?'
My response is usually 'She's three. She's a normal kid and is progressing normally for a child her age. Thank you for your concern.'
Even her grandparents forget she's not a little baby anymore. We have to constantly remind them not to do everything for her, especially help her in the bathroom. She can do it all herself now and only needs a little help washing her hands because she can't quite reach the faucets yet.
