And 40 is still pretty young, IMO... I'm 45 and we had our second rugrat 4 years ago.

I'm 40 with a 3 year old. That'd be fine if I didn't have the body of a 60+ year old. The trick is to make up for it in immaturity.

Huge congrats to you, and I'm sure this will be the very most special lifelong experience you will ever have.
All my kid-comments and questions always come here, ACF is much too evil to even bother, but this is like a lovely island oasis of helpful, resourceful, fantastic people.

Thanks again for the welcome.
Well, he is just over a week old now. Things are starting to fall into place and we are getting a routine set. He isnt much of a crier, thankfully. Lots of emotional turmoil around the house. Didnt think i would ever be so attached to something so fast. His mother is still an emotional mess, lol. She is doing well, really sore but on the mend.
It is nice to have a place to come for comments on this subject without having to deal with the usual trolls and smartass comments and get +1s in the process.
