Don't know if it's that or the fact that we're finally home after our 2 weeks in England, but she's got some mommy-attachment issues now...

Either way we were in trouble, since we lost her only good soother that she liked. Tried her other soother for a week before it went into the stuffed animal, but already she was hating it, and napping.

Oh well!! We'll just march along, keep going and hopefully she gets over it, they don't even make her old soother any more!

They do get over their 'loss' eventually.

I had mine post them to Santa so he would bring them something they really wanted.

Our method was simple, and the practice of it was only trying for a couple of days when both kids decided they wanted it back.

Step 1 - The morning before..."ou're a big girl/boy! Tomorrow we don't use the binky anymore! Yay!"

Step 2 - No more binky (yes, I'm a 32 year old man calling it a binky).

Step 3 - Ugh, stop throwing yourself on the floor crying, please....big girl/boy, remember?

Step 4 - By day 3 they'd forgotten about them.
