Back from our 2 week vacation in England, now it's time for Sofia to lose the binky once and for all!
Like her sister, she's 2 now, only uses it for naps and night sleeping, and it ends up outside her mouth most of the time anyway... Picking a toy and sewing it inside a foot or something this weekend! Wish me luck.

Matthias only uses his for naps now at 16 months, we plan to have it gone by Christmas.

Actually I thought someone on these boards gave me the idea a couple years back when we did it with Gabi.
What you do is have the little one pick a stuffed toy, then you can open up a foot or somewhere, place the soother inside, and then sew it all back shut again. Gabi loved it, was involved in the whole thing obviously. She could feel it was in there, which apparently gave her just enough comfort to not need to suck on it any more!! Really neat.
She asked to take it out the first few days, but understood when I explained to her that I couldn't take it out of there any more.
