last concert I was at was Tiger Fest (local college has bands and basically students get drunk starting at like 9am) so every was completely loaded. More fights broke out that never went anywhere than ive ever seen in my life. The band came out and said that the more people that would mosh, and harder they moshed, the harder and longer they would play. So a pretty damn huge cirlce opened up in front of the stage and everyone was going crazy, drunken idiots were falling by the dozens to create inanimate obstacles in your path. So if you somehow survived the crazy skin head moshers (like 5 creating havoc by kicking people in the balls), then you most certainly got taken down by your fallen comrades. I quickly left after this jackass nailing me in the balls REAL HARD from behind. Never did get to see who did it. But after I left this BIG black dude in a doorag (like 6'6' and 300+ lbs) came in and began demolishing anyone he saw with some charing hits that would make Ray Lewis wince. Was a great time, and I got to laugh at the countless morons crowd surfing over the heads of other completely drunken morons get droppd head first on the hard ground.


On a side note I did find a wallet with 20 bucks in it that someone grabbed off the poor crowd serfer and just lobbed it across the crowd. I got to drink for free that night.

My $8 beer got spilled!

Got a little messed up in last night's mosh, but not too bad. Only reminder of it is this freakin' black eye from catchin a boot off a surfer. My buddy did get in a fist fight with this huge dreaded Ska kid, had to break that up.

Nothing severe has ever happened to me, i'm pretty lucky as i've been in some serious pits.


I've seen a number of broken noses, arms, legs, etc etc


worst i've had is a steeltoe boot land on top of my head. Nothing i hate more than crowd surfers in a pit. ><

I love mosh pits, welllll I used to, getting bit too old now heheh


worst i have had is a doc martin smash me square on the nose from a crowd surfer - missed rest of the concert due to blood and stuff pouring from my nose, didnt break but was painfull for days - if anyone knows the Aussie bad Midnight Oil, you will know how awesome their mosh pits are


best mosh pit was at a Violent Femmes concert, the mosh pit was like half the audience, they played like 5 encores and it was amazing concert.
