I have broken my left arm, had a concussion, got a black eye, fractured my ankle, and got a fat lip

I've seen that happen.
Freaking.Ouch.
I've gotten knocked around and cut up a bit but nothing all too serious. A little blood never hurt anyone.

Jeez... I can hardly remember some of them... 
I got into a fist fight in the middle of the pit once... and lost. lol
I got thrown backwards into a bar stool which I tripped over and knocked over about 50 glasses of alcohol. That was stupid though, they shouldn't have all those liquor bottles right near the front in a small club.
I got a broken nose from an elbow in the face at Dillinger Escape Plan...
At one concert a looooong time ago, I was especially loaded, (so loaded I don't even remember what band it was...) but the band, in the middle of one of their songs, split the room into two parts and told us to kill each other. That was insane... I couldn't drive home after that, I was too bruised and battered up. Amazingly no broken bones though.
I've gotten hurt much worse actually PERFORMING at certain shows lol. Far more dangerous to the non-musicians out there.

I broke my joint between my little finger (pinky?) and the ring finger cause some asshole ran head first into my first.

Worst for me was Loollapalooza...94 I think it was. It was the one with Rage Against The Machine, Fishbone, Alice In Chains, Primus, and some others I can't remember. During the Alice In Chains set people started throwing empty water bottles into the air - so many that they literally filled the sky. Scary thing was some got filled with mud, and some still had water in them. One of them clonked me in the back of the head, hard, and I was on the ground.
Of course, then me and my dumbass friends were all "that was awesome" and kept moshing.

Anyway, my "mosh pit" story is fairly tame (or was that "lame"?), but I'm *so* not the mosh pit type, so it's something to *me*...
It was a Siouxsie and the Banshees concert... I know what you're thinking--and no, it wasn't a proper "mosh" pit, but it was a pit alright and I was crammed up against the railing with people pressing up against me and jumping up and down in such a way that *I* also had to jump up and down for fear that my skin would be scraped off otherwise.
Anyway, everything happened so fast... The railing started collapsing, I briefly blacked out and when I came to, there was a guard beneath us, pinned under the railing, screaming. There was quite a bit of confusion at that point, but I wasn't hurt. I never did know how badly that guard was hurt, though. So... I guess this was more a story of that guard's battle scars.  |

I don't remember getting injured in the mosh pit, just some random groping. My steel toed jack boots were more than just a fashion statement.  |
