If they renamed it, I'd have no problem with it.

Like, "Teen Channel" or something.

The fact that they're pretensious enough to draw some idiotic correlation to music... Grrr.

MTV blows, and MTV2 is no better. All it is now is Yo Mamma and reality TV garbage.

I agree with Ministry. Believe it or not, MTV used to be all music videos back in the 80s but it slowly turned into anything but that. They used to break new bands by playing music you never heard of; now they just play the same top 40 junk over and over again.

Sometimes MTV1 I can never find a video on and MTV2 started to turn to crap now I see they have MTV3 but I no longer have cable or satellite so I don't know how it is.

Im old. I saw MTV the first time it aired. I was a sophmore in HS (1980).

I remember seeing Frank Zappa in concert on that Saturday night.

Now? MTV has barely anything to do with music at all.

There's only two things worth watching on MuchMusic in Canada. The New Music, and The Wedge.

Dweezil Zappa is currently touring as Zappa Plays Zappa. It doesn't look like there are a lot of shows but, if you're lucky enough to live near where they're playing, it sounds like it's going to be great.

My uncle went to see them. He said if you closed your eyes you could see Frank standing right there. Supposed to be a great show.

They had a few indie cartoons debute on MTV. Ex: Bevis and Butthead. But I think they had those on the weekend.
