Well, think about popular music (top 40). How much of it is actually good? 0.5%? Even if they did play round the clock videos, it'd be junk.
I hear MTV2 isn't as bad, but still has it's downpoints.

I agree with Ministry. Believe it or not, MTV used to be all music videos back in the 80s but it slowly turned into anything but that. They used to break new bands by playing music you never heard of; now they just play the same top 40 junk over and over again.

Who cares if they played music or just have some date show on it, either way both are going to be horrible. Like others have said MTV is nothing more then popculture entertainment for shortsided retarded kids.
