That's beyond stupid. You should probably never go to a restaurant again if that's how you feel.

At least this season we don't have a sweat dripper like Howie The sweaty ones whose sweat drips into food are the ones that turn me off

Silver, I think you just have not noticed it before. Every season of Top Chef and most of the other reality shows, the majority of participants are drinking and partying.

That is why Cliff got canned. They were all drunk and it went to far.

Some of the contestants do not seem professional. Again, nothing new here. Remember, it is part reality show. They are choosing some competitors for entertainment value. Remember, it is Bravo, so of course they are going to play up the lesbian couple on the show.

And who cares what they do in their Living quarters? If they were getting it on in the kitchen, that is a different situation.

I'm not giving you my opinion, just telling you that there is a 99.9% chance that any restaurant you visit is going to have cooks and possibly a chef who act just like the ones you seem to have such a problem with.

I live in a relatively small town and out of everyone I work with and all my friends who cook elsewhere around town, I can think of one or two that don't enjoy a nice round of substance abuse and making an ass of themself. This industry is notorious for having some of the biggest ****-ups society has to offer... and that does nothing to offset the fact we make food that is unthinkably better than anything you are going to learn from watching Rachel Ray.

I did not know Cat was gay. Explains the nickname.

Anyhow...I agree with the feedback on the challenge - the neighborhood should have had a say, but honestly, corn dog boy should have known this was not the time to roll this out. Regardless - he should NOT have gone home before the crappy pasta salad.

I agree with Silverwulf. I want to see the cooking, not all the extra crap that goes on. I watch it for the cooking parts. This season I'm not sure I want my daughter watching it. She LOVES this show but they seem to be turning it into just antoher reality show rather than a cooking show.

I was referring to their lack of professionalism, not that I was opposed to them tipping a few. I happen to be guilty of that myself, on occasion.

Showing guys bashing each other's heads into the walls and lesbian women languishing in the same double bed didn't scream 'professional' to me. The half dozen empty beer bottles on top of the fridge didn't help their image either. If I knew those details about a chef whose restaurant I considered visiting, I wouldn't bother.

For example, I know Cat Cora is gay and does ouzo shots on Iron Chef and I still would be excited about having her as my chef because she looks and acts professionally. Not so with this bunch.

I agree with most of what you say. When I go to a restaurant, I go there to eat good food. When I watch a cooking reality competition show, I expect to see good cooking competition, not some half drunk people trying to throw crap together and pass it off as gourmet food. With the standard that previous seasons have set, I think this season has fallen way short as well as the previous season as far as people "acting out" goes.

Considering you had one person kicked off for "rough housing" another contestant, thats not really the standard that I think the show has set previously and its just going down hill, like others have said to try and boost ratings. Its going the way of "The Real World" where theyre provided with lots of alcohol and arent ordered told to "act silly" but that its suggested that they do stuff or cause drama that would help the ratings(maybe not in those exact words, but you get my meaning ie theyres a way of telling someone something, without directly saying it)

The drama between Marcel "Foam boy" Vigneron and Betty "Comfort food" Fraser was/is a classic example of this. I mean they kinda hated each other for no reason and its just silly.
