My grandma always made Harvest soup. Beef, onions, turnips, carrots, potatoes, peas and tomatoes in a beef broth. She always served it with homemade sourdough bread. When I make it I always think of her and the time we spent at the farm.

Apple anything!!! Specially with caramel or cinnamon.
Beef Stews, veggie soups
Zuchinni (sp?) bread
this year, i get to try to figure out how to preserve Pumpkin. Our patch went CRAZY this year, even if i give them to everyone in the family, we will still have a boatload lol.

osso buco-veal shank braised with wine, citrus and aromatics ove risotto milanesa
risotto in general
salsify,burdock, taro, spelt, farro
delicata squash, spaghetti squash
lamb shank in guiness with rosemary roast purple potatoes

It has started getting cold here so yesterday I made a pot roast in the slow cooker with potatoes, onions and carrots. Yummmm...

And most other things Pumpkin. Unless I am in the south, then I have to remember to use the phrase Orange Squash and not "Where's your Pumpkin?" cause that always gets kinda disturbing when they bring out their cousins.
