I prefer lite yogurt to regular. A few other things here and there I'll do lite, but I don't seek it out or try it first.
"My sodas are diet"
Just as an fyi, the problem with soda's isn't specifically the calories. Most of them screw with your bodies in other ways, cola especially. While it's good to be taking in less calories than a regular coke, it's still not unhealthy (perhaps better worded "it's only healthy in moderation" .

I don't specifically search out 'Lite' products with the exception of canned fruits (I don't like sugary fruit) but because of my recent dietary changes, I have been counting carbs and actively seeking out sugarless products.
I have practically eliminated sugar from my diet and now use whole grain products like spaghetti and noodles. My family now eats wheat bread and when we make homemade pizza, the crust is whole wheat. There are a number of small changes we have made to eat healthier and my husband and I have begun to take off a substantial amount of weight in the process. When I went on my diet, he decided to go on one too. lol
Counting carbs allows me to eat whatever I want - I can just have more food if the item contains less carbohydrates.

I was never a fan of no-carb diets, mainly because for most people they are temporary diets.
I've lost 45lbs since the second week of August, and my diet consists of roughly 1/3 each protein, fat, and carbs. I eat 5 times a day, every 3-4 hours. I don't eat more than 500 calories in a meal. I exercise 30-50 minutes a day, 6 days a week. Working great for me.

Most of the time, yes.
I buy lite mayo, lite sour cream, reduced fat cheese, 2% milk (I know, should be 1%, but that's like drinking white water), and lite yogurt. I also buy Neufchatel cheese rather than cream cheese. There might be more, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.
I DON'T do lite syrup. In fact, I don't do any of the big name syrups because they're not real maple syrup. If I'm going to use syrup, it's going to be the real thing because it's worth it.

I mostly use real stuff instead of lite versions, but in moderation. A lot of the lite stuff just doesn't taste right, and has an ingredients listing that reads like the periodic table. No thank you.

I believe you're thinking of "fat free" items. Lite items generally use lighter oils, like canola or olive oil. Or they use skim or part-skim milk. They don't usually have ingredients science had to create.
I NEVER do fat free. Never. The stuff is disgusting.

not exactly lite, but I've discovered that (to my taste) whole wheat whole grain pasta is better than the regular stuff.

I didn't say NO carbs, I said low carbs. I'm a diabetic and carbohydrates convert instantly to sugar in a diabetic's system. That's a bad thing when you're trying to control your blood sugar levels with diet and exercise alone as I am. This is definitely not a temporary diet for me, it is a lifestyle change and my diet came straight from a dietitian who specializes in diabetic training at a large local hospital/clinic.
I also eat 5 times a day, every 3-4 hours and exercise 30 to 60 minutes a day, 7 days a week.
