If you were given a hunk of bacon what would you do with it? I know this one will be hard as we all LOVE bacon and it can be used in so many yummy ways, but post the first recipe that pops in your head.
I will post mine in the AM when I am more awake and less prone to typos

I like to fry some bacon nice and crisp and crumble it, reserving a TAD of the fat as well as two whole pieces.
Then I steam some fresh green beans until they are about 70% done, take them out and thrown them into the bacon pan with a little thyme, salt and pepper.
When they are nearly done, Add the bacon crumbles.
While cooking, consume the two whole pieces that you set aside becasue YOU LOVE BACON!!!
Guaranteed you will get adults AND kids eating their veggies!
(Oh and on Top Chef this week, they talked about a Bacon Hollandaise Sauce. My knees grew weak at the mere thought...)

crispy fried bacon, crumbled
2-3 eggs scrambled
McDonalds style hash brown, deep fried
sharp chedder cheese, grated
Pace Picante Sauce
Gigantic Burrito Size Tortilla, warmed up in a skillet
wrap it up, chow down

Take a half pound of bacon and whizz it in a food processor until it's paste.
Take a can of water chestnuts, drain it, whizz it until it's small chunks.
Take a pound of peeled and deveined shrimp and pulse it a few times until it's really chunky.
Mix the three together, now add 1T corn starch and 1 egg, 1T soy sauce.
form one small patty and pan fry it until it's golden brown.
Now taste the small patty and add more soy if needed. Then either pan fry or bake the rest in a fast oven.
You can smear this over bread cubes and deep fat fry them but I think there's enough fat calories in this as it is.

My very first thought is a fried egg sandwich.
The sandwich consists of two slices of bread slightly toasted with just a hint of mayo on them, followed by enough bacon to cover the entire surface of the bread, and then a hard fried egg (so it doesn't drip much), then some tobasco and s&p. That's one of my favorite breakfast sandwiches.
