Sharp cheddar cheese in the middle but heres the kicker: On the buttered side you put some grated sharp cheddar as well and press it into the bread. You do this until the other side has cooked in, flip, repeat with the other side. The result is a grilled cheese with an INCREDIBLY crispy and cheesey outside (think the crunchy cheese you get in pizza sometimes) and gooey cheddary goodness in the middle.
Definitely not healthy, definitely tastes amazing.
