Doh! Had a service call to address earlier, talked with my buddy who drinks wine more than I do, and he recommended a chardonnay, so I went with it.
Chardonnay vs Riesling...did I make a bad call?
Oh, and I'm winging it on dessert with a brownie topped with butter pecan ice cream and caramel drizzled over it.
You made the better choice of wine, and I think your dessert sounds wonderful!!!
