In that case, what is everyone currently reading? We need some discussions...


Recently finished the Mistborn series, as well as In the Name of the Wind. Currently reading book one of Drizzt, and I know Yoss loves that series.

I just finished Ranger's Apprentice - book 1. Now I have to go buy the next few books on Amazon. My local library only has books 6 through the latest.

Reading Dark Elf trilogy, for the sixth time or something, as well as the second book in the Temeraire series. (The Throne of Jade)

I've been reading Brent Weeks' Night Angel trilogy. However, it is so suspenseful that I can't read the books back to back because I can't take the emotional stress.

I started reading Cassandra Claire's Mortal Instruments trilogy yesterday. I read Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter book 3 in between the first two Weeks books. Hopefully Night Angel 3 and the Mortal Instruments trilogy will last me until the 22nd.

There are tons of must read releases coming in the next month.

P.S. Put those damn Drizzit books down and walk away. If you insist on reading them at least have the sense to stop reading after the Artemis books, after that the series is so bad it is derivative of itself.

How do you like Ranger's Apprentice? Looks interesting, I might have to pick it up.

Jarom, I really enjoyed it. It was an easy quick read, but had enough depth to make me actually care about the characters. The first book is a lot of setup. We see how the main character becomes an apprentice ranger. I'm looking forward to a little bit more happening in the next several books.

Just downloaded the sample off Barnes and Noble. It only contains the Prologue! I was hoping for the first chapter.

i'm kind of reading the first malazan book but i'm also rereading name of the wind because wise man's fear comes out on march 1st.
