I have tried three in a row now that I can't stomach due to the absolutely unbearable readers.
William Dufris is easily my least favorite person alive. I can't even put in to words how AWFUL he is. If I saw him reading a book on youtube I would shut it off unable to stand watching him embarrass himself.

i think 99% of them are horrible. i liked the harry potter guy and spike for dresden and that's it. everyone book i've listened to samples on grates on my nerves within 10 seconds.

I almost mentioned that the only readers I like are the soft spoken British readers. The Harry Potter guy (Jim Dale) is good as is Richard Aspel who I think is actually Australian but has that same voice.

I just listened to Trudi Canavan's Black Magician trilogy which was done by him.

I want my audio books to be read to me, not voice acted out (and the dramatizations of books makes me want to throw things). I'm half tempted to just let my kindle read shit for me.

The middle ground between bad acting and robot voices are these soft spoken British guys.
We need to genetically breed them so they can read all of the books. I demand well cultured British gentleman farms.

she did one of the merry gentry books. she was awesome. book sucked...but she was freaking awesome.
so pissed that james marsters didn't do Ghost Story. whoever they had do it just ruins the whole damn thing.
