I am still using a Acer netbook (It works for what I need it for because its compact) =(. I was not intending on staying in Asia for so long so I did not prepare by bringing a decent laptop. The connection is one of those things that really pisses me off its like the monkey they use to run the routers in Thailand turns it on and off. One of these days when I return to the states I will start playing again.

He's not that far though either.
Don't get me wrong, I don't miss him in the slightest... just saying, it's not that hard to get your hands on a cheap laptop anywhere in the world.

I know you would think being so close to China computer and electronic stuff would be cheap but its not(Unless you want a Iphone knock off). A Galaxy S is still going for around 13k Baht (433$). It is nice having a minimalistic computer setup. If I have to travel I do not have a ton of crap to haul around. Why its the choice between a new computer or a PS3. At least with the PS3 it can be modded and games are like 3$ here.

We had game when there was NO DECAL for those months...lots of people played moslty melees and the bots were manually ran...I was a bot most times but I do remember point and time when there was NO DECAL. And I am not talking about the beginning of AC I am talking about when ToD came out there was NO DECAL.
As for UCMers theres really not that many or as bad as it use to be. Problem I been having is when I let the kids play and they don't respond fast enough because they are busy killing stuf and cannot type and kill at same time next thing I know they got some blue person talking to them which I end up having to move the kids to another place so they don't get reported again. You'd be surprised that how big Dereth is how hard it is to find an OUT of the way place where kids can play and not have to look at chat. In the last 3 weeks they been spotted (questioned 10 times) because I had them in higher level spots intead of the low level stuff they are bored with. They are 10 and 12 but they can play just cannot type and play at same time.
