I've tried to be as polite and civil as I could about this topic but it's really becoming a nuisance. First, let me say that I don't even fellow in grind dungeons, but I am an officer in my guild so I hear a lot of the complaints from good people who are trying to have fun and play the game the way it's meant to be played. Furthermore, I have no grief with people who ucm if its done in a way that doesn't interfere with the enjoyment of others. If a fellowship is open and everyone in it can benefit, there's no harm. If you're in a low traffic area and just hunting for salvage and whatnot, there's no harm. But when you run a route in a high traffic area that constantly jumps other live players or you close a fellowship in a dungeon and ucm until the entire dungeon is locked down, it interferes with other people and it kills the fun of the game.

That being said, I've tried through /cg and @t to talk to certain people who lead these fellowship and they've either insulted me or called me a tattle tale and a baby and whatnot. That's beside the point, and it really doesn't bother me either way. I don't use decal, don't ucm, never have. I do care about the people who are in my guild and my followers in particular and I think it's very ignorant to act like you own an area. I also think it's even more ignorant to threaten to shut people out of certain quest fellowship because they are "known reporters" but you live with the consequences of your actions. That is true of both sides however. I've written an email to turbine addressing the last few days worth of incidents on Thistledown including the names of every ucmer that I've tried numerous times to talk to and I have either been ignored or squelched. I've also gone personally to these places that my followers are telling me about and checked each player that is in question. If you're ucming, I have sent you an @T and given you a minute to respond. if you didn't, I reported you.

I'll continue to do this until something happens. You can hate me and call me whatever names you want. The good people who actually play this game and work for xp instead of ucming aren't having fun because of a small percentage of people who think they can do whatever they want. The COC exists for a reason, don't call me names because I think it's proper to uphold it when you are messing up another person's experience. We all pay for this game. You can do with this what you will, but rather than putting your accounts at risk of being banned, why don't you clean up your behavior a bit and grow up just a little more.

Do you report your own vassal who UCMs the same spot you are reporting others for UCMing at? Pretty sure you are not.

Well, the game would be dead without UCMers, completely dead. If this was 2001, it makes sense to ban UCM because it was a small portion of the large population. Today is a large portion of the very very small population, and dynamics of the game have continued to progress towards only be tolerable with macros. Try salvaging up 90 bags of steel manually to tink your cool new armor suit...

I just find the double standard interesting. It's OK to UCM if you are helping me(vassal), but not OK to UCM if you are not helping me.

It "bothered" you enough to post about it, so your post only contradicts itself.

The few that do not UCM would dissagree with me. I just doubt that if Decal was gone many if any would be left playing. From our allegiance, I think the only person left would be Blackmancer.

I find the idea of trying to salvage 90 bags of steel for each suit enough to never touch this game if it wasn't for people macroing that endlessly tedious task. You wouldnt' ever be able to buy a bag of salvage. Farming the salvage just to play week to week would be most of your time playing this game. How is that even fun?
