Is that all recent footage, or is some of it old'ish?

Okay after much thought the idea of capture the flag PKL event is coming together - Stay posted for details!

Have like 5on5, and a NPK. When all 5 are dead the NPK hands over an item. Have the 2 teams choose a town as a location. Then teams would have to send out a scout. Which could lead to fights in TN......lol.

like 95% of the footage was from 2 days fri-sat. 2 weeks ago tomorrow. I then put the vid together over the long weekend - and shot alittle more to fill in the gaps.

As tempting as that sounds, not burning up to play AC right now.
Still not feeling the draw like I had once upon a time...
I miss the people some, but to expensive for 3 hours a month...

i love the alternative ideas for pvp. This is one of the best things about Asherons Call, it is so open ended. Players can use their creativity to make the game fun and interesting in ways that the developers never thought of. kudos to you for thinking of this and for making it a reality.

Other ideas:

1. Low level pk fun: set a max level for the event like 20 or 30 (takes 10 minutes to get to 30 now). Have everyone go red for the event and relive some pk like it was in 2000.

2. No Radar: This one is impossible to enforce and requires players to trust one another, but can certainly be done in the small scale. Set a place for a pvp fight and then have all of the participants phsically cover the radar on their screen with a piece of paper. PvP with no radar allows players to actually hide from other players in areas like towns etc. I can remember doing this once with some of my friends in a town and one of them ran into a building, took off his armor and stood at a vendor window. I walked right past him because he looked exactly like a vendor and then he got the jump on me. (Also for this you need to outlaw target nearest player keys)

3. The Chase: One Red player has a number of parchments. He/she must deliver them to various white players in different towns/areas. The Red player is being chased by all of the other red players participating. It is their goal to kill him before he can deliver all of the parchments. This one is fun because it gives you the element of chasing someone and stopping them from achieving a goal (or being chased), and it also gets some of the other white players on the server involved because they can supply info to the chasers as to the whereabouts of the renegade. The chasing team can split up and try to defend the various drop points or they can chase him to each one.

Other great locations for pvp events:

1. Elevated platforms: a set of them near Sanamar, off to the side of Crystalline Crag, Wedding Area etc., (if you hit the ground you are out)

2. No Radar: Not a fan, like the idea, just doesn't seem possible.
