I have fond memories of the original. If you haven't seen it, I don't recommend watching it for it's great acting, or spectacular special effects it's incredibly cheesy. But I loved the robot owl.
They're remaking Clash of the Titans. I'm going to drag my wife to see it, even though it's probably going to be as bad as the original without an awesome owl.

its a must see! i remember going to the movies with my dad when i was young for the original...i loved it then, and i hope its great this time around.
it was cheesy if you watch it again, but when it came out...i thought it was the best!

I grew up with it, a bit before my time, but arent all the greats?
Anywho, I must be blind but I didn't see pegasus. He totally made the first move for me, first time see a flying horse in a life action movie blew me away.

I hate it, and I love it. I hate it because most of the time they end up tarnishing my childhood with a pointless, horrible cash-in. But I love it on the rare occasion they bring something to the big screen that was previously limited by technology, and actually do it justice. Clash of the Titans was possibly my favorite movie as a kid, and those trailers look very promising

I love all the remakes. I can enjoy them for what they are. Not to mention my childhood is kinda hazy at this point, so sometimes I don't even notice, lol.

Clash of the Titans is not a classic, though. It's a bit of pulp that is enduring because it was pleasantly cheesy and had special effects that, though primitive, were obviously handled by people with skill (i.e. the legendary Ray Harryhausen). It was spectacle then, and there's no reason it shouldn't be remade using today's toys.
