Anyone know what the Best Buy "Nut Up or Shut Up" Edition entails? Didn't see any info on BB web site. So far, it's the only special edition I've seen. It does say DVD is 2 discs.

I just don't care about zombies or people who suffer from them, now if it had some Blue Space Monkey's and some Unobtanium I'd be right there.

Now I rant about zombie movies.

Zombie movies are bad, regardless of what ever political BS they cram into the story is basically retarded people want to eat the not retarded people who are kind of retarded because they die to the retarded people, but the retarded people don't seem interested in eating one another once they've done been turned retarded. WTF? All these big sacks of meat are all over the place, they never have guns or fire heck they're right next to you, EAT THEM YOU RETARDED ZOMBIES, IT ALL COMES OUT THE SAME PLACE and I can't imagine they have much of a pallet, do Mexicans taste different than White People?

Also, how does our military get over run by zombies in the apocalypse zombie movies? Why doesn't anyone just pile a bunch of fetus and when the zombies come to eat run them over with a tank? Or you know just wait until whole cities are turned and napalm the hell out of it. Our military can knock out a government in less than a week but can't handle a bunch of flesh eating retards who have the mighty stick as a weapon, sometimes a chain. W T F. Maybe it's a break down in protocol.

While you're thinking too much into it, I think you do have a point. It's interesting to see what would really happen in a zombie scenario. I think the only way it could really get that bad where the military is helpless is if it spreads in several places all at once. And as complex as the military is, they can't be everywhere at once.

Now that that's out of the way.
The original zombie movie basically had anyone freshly deceased coming back to life due to some random event. Now if you calculate how many people in a nation die every hour and add the fact that it happens over a vast area... only a country of well ran local feudal systems would be able to keep some of the outbreaks at bay. Since that system failed miserably after the Viking Raids faded into nothingness in Europe, that's not a plausible concept. Therefore, the 200,000 or so active military of the US, for instance, would not be able to contain a massive outbreak of this proportion. This is all quite obvious to anyone with a functioning brain(potentially making you a zombie)

Also, consider the psychology some would face with having to possibly kill family, friends, co-workers, lovers, etc. before the infected person could spread the infection to you. I'm willing to bet most people won't make the right decision(which would be a head shot, bitch!)in time.

I just googled "zombieland best buy exclusive features"

I've determined that it has 2 bonus featurettes: one is 20 mins and the other is 7.5 mins.
it's also 2 disc, which means the 2nd disc is either the "Bonus" stuff or a digital copy that the studios have been putting in movies to allow us to view movies on our portable media players.

as for thugs question on why don't they eat each other, isn't the common answer to that in movies that the zombies crave live flesh and blood, and zombies aren't alive anymore, or the second usual reason, that it's a virus and like any virus it's number 1 purpose is to spread, so the carriers are controlled by the this virus and it's instinct to spread. I mean those two reason make more sense then zombies are just carnivores looking to eat O-o.

I'm sorry I'm stupid for not being able to shut my brain off enough to enjoy a crap movie. I just don't see zombies overwhelming a tank, Helicopter or a sturdy fence. Hell, a well equipped road crew would be able to fend off a zombie hoard.

Army's with thousands of people armed with things that explode drops in a couple of days. I'll make this point again. But thousands of zombies who might have a stick win?

Early zombie movies were the slow zombies which if I remember correctly the local sheriff usually ended up taking care of. If zombies crave fresh meat then in the apocalypse where there's thousands of zombies milling about waiting to run into someone, when ever they do they don't finish the meal, they nibble on the arm and ensure there's a facial wound, then you have mostly intact retards out to get their friends.

Each person will react differently to seeing loved ones come back to life. I'd wager you probably wouldn't mind putting them back down again, things don't rise from the grave to give one last hug.

That's too bad because the entire purpose of watching a movie is to be entertained. If you're incapable of suspending disbelief, that really only leaves you with biopics, history films, or documentaries I suppose. While they all have their place, I'd hate to be stuck with just that.

It's a shame too, as this is clearly a movie that was designed from the get-go as a guilty pleasure. It's not supposed to be grounded in scientific fact. It's supposed to be junk food. The Twinkie of films if you will . Tastes good, but no real sustenance.

I bought it yesterday on blu-ray. Can't wait to watch it.

i said living flesh, not fresh flesh, your stuck on the notion that zombies are meant to be carnivorous hunters, in every movie I've seen zombies have either been an infection, with the only purpose to spread more infection, or like in older movies, some kind of evil, where their purpose seemed to be killing the living, i don't know in what movie you got the notion that zombies where bad because they "want to eat meat" ><
