here's my theory as to how the doctor will get out of the pandorica:
(bearing in mind that Stephen Moffat also wrote The Curse of Fatal Death)
The Doctor will reveal that he once met the designer of the Pandorica, took him out for a very nice dinner with a very expensive bottle of wine, and convinced him to install a lever right here...

I admit it was no award winner but I thought it was ok, lol.
I think this season as a whole worked out pretty well. The characters grew on me though not sure if I want Rory hanging around all the time. The one thing I'm getting tired of is ... all of the Doctor's companions being some kind of pivotal super special being. I mean there is only so many times he can pull the whole "oh there was a reason we came together" spiel.
I'd love to see a season of his courting River though. That or just filling out her character she is like a dark side version of the Doctor.

rose and marfa weren't special. donna was special and i liked that she was. amy being special when she was totally like a hot scottish donna annoyed me. but as long as river is around a lot more, i'll be happy.

... and in the episode "Flesh and Stone," the Doctor had comfy chairs.
I sense a pattern.
I wonder how comfy the chair was inside the Pandorica.
