Oh I'd be pissed. That tree would be kindling... I mean what is the use of a fruit tree that doesn't put out anyway?
EDIT: Kind of like my yard... it is in terrible shape and I don't care. If it were a garden though I would tend to it every day because I would be getting something tangible back from it.

little behind here, I just saw it. that was a very well-written episode. creepy and poignant. I love how the companion pulled it out of the fire for him there at the end.

Woho River is back next week and so are the weeping angles... going to be good. Today's was just meh for me though. Something about them always coming back and always getting away in one form or another just gets old after a while.

ok what just happened there. yeah, sure, they had this android created by the Daleks who could "invent" alien tech for the Earthlings, etc., etc.... but how did he retrofit the RAF that fast that they were suddenly up there playing Star Wars with the Dalek ship?? That made zero sense.

I'm not actually convinced that she's lovestruck. I do think she's impressed by him and having the time of her life, and there is a certain basic romanticism about traveling through time and space with a mysterious stranger, but I think that's all it is.
With Ten, "lovestruck" would have been completely believable, but that's because David Tennant is hot as hell.  This guy, though...it's a lot easier to remember that he's an alien, I'll just say that.

honestly he might end up being better than Tennant just because of that. I actually liked Christopher Eccleston way better as the Doctor, but David Tennant is SO HOT that I often would just sit there drooling and forget to follow, I dunno, the plot?
At least Nine would occasionally call Rose a "stupid ape", that at least is sort of alien.
