the little metal arms/backets under some of the keys, like spacebar and the shift keys, almost impossible to get them sitting properly again. you have to try and clip them to back of the key, and also get them into slots on the keyboard itself. nearly impossible i found. the right shift was by far the worst. once i took off once, it never worked again properly.

Ah, I see what you mean. Those are a pain in the ass but I've not had TOO much difficulty getting them back on. Trick is to start with the bracket on the keyboard, not the key, and to just push hard on the key so the bracket clips that way. Any other way hasn't worked for me.

So the Razer Arctosa is thinner then the G110?

They are both 1.5" thick, I think.

It is somewhat chunkier than the G110 and Arctosa, but the keys are nice to type on and, unlike the Arctosa, you get macro buttons.

I want the thinnest/40-70$ keyboard that's gaming and i dont need macro keys just be able to macro the keys on the keyboard like qwerty etc so what's the best? for that price range?

Either the G110 or Lycosa / Arctosa. Can't go wrong with either IMO.
