thats my PS unless its crap or bad it should not be the problem.

Used driver sweeper and went back to the 275.33 drivers will test them today see if it happens still

"the 12v Rail is overloaded"

How would i test this to see if the wiring is having problems?

up still crashed from lol once and froze for 10seconds another time in 1 game.

PC didnt crash just the game closed and driver recoverd running the older 275.33 driver set.

core temps where 58 and 59 high with my gpu hiting 63 all below there max levels.

So does not seem to be a driver issuse or a sound conflict leaves a bad card shiped or a power problem and i have no clue how to check the power.

Start by returning the card since it is still under warranty. And its more than possible for the card to be the issue.

If that checks out the same as the present card, you go through and find what changed about the system from the time you installed it to the time it started to fail.

Easiest way to check a PSU thats working that you suspect is failing is to lighten the strain and see if the problem stays the same or gets better/worse.

But Also check the Capacitors on the motherboard to make sure they are not buldging anywhere.

Here are things i would try and you have done so on several:

1. vidcard drivers- make sure compatible with your pc brand too if its a prebuilt aka dell/hp etc. also correct driver for your OS. my laptop will not accept the new driver yet bc its an HP. make sure to do a clean install of drivers.

2. vidcard- maybe bad card or overclock. try with another card or place your card in another pc to see if the prbm transfers to that pc.

3. PSU- your psu should be fine to run your stuff but if its bad or weak then replace it. u can buy psu testers. only way to test it is to place loads(voltage demands like video card/motherboard/hdd etc) on the psu. the psu tester will apply loads to it and see if it fails. also you might find a pc repair shop that will test the psu for you.

4. possible but unlikely is a bad motherboard. try placing card into another slot if you have it. also make sure your card is in the correct slot but really shouldnt matter.

never heard of vidcard drivers needing to be compatable with a brand before just the card and mobo.

and both of mine are.

hell i even went back to an older version that ran fine for months with 0 problems on my 280 before i replaced it.

card is not OC and a bad card would have problems with all games right? played from 9-11 on wow and 11-1 in STW2 useing dx11 max settings with 0 problems.

did one game of league of legends after that and it crashed twice with no error or recovery msg.

LoL is the only game i have had problems with but for 1 recovery while playing wow while doing youtube 2 forums and a few other things in the background.

Can lol be corrupting the drivers some how for some odd reason?

and yes tried re-downloading and installing the game.

if its the PSU would it not have more problems in a MMO game like STW2 then a simple lol game?

isnt LoL a fairly new game? there might be some issues with certain vidcards with that game but im not sure.

yes brands can make a difference but usually they dont anymore. i just know the new driver for my nvidia card for my laptop is not functioning correctly yet. i think thats just the issue with the driver itself though.

but yea if its happening to just one game in particular then i would see about the specs for that game and what type of vidcard you may need. some drivers may not be set to run LoL as efficiently as it should for certain vidcards while other games have no issues. thats why im asking if LoL is new.

to me personally it sounds like a driver compatibility with the game(s).

well i think i have fixed it and no lol is not new been out for over a year and i been playing for close to 2 counting beta time.

1. Open REGEDIT

2. Using Windows 7, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Control\ GraphicsDrivers

3. Once there you will most likely have to create a new DWORD (32bit users) or QWORD (64bit users). Name it TdrDelay.

4. Once created, change the value to 8. This will allow the GPU 8 seconds to respond instead of 2 seconds.

used that fix from another site, played 2 games now with 0 problems.

edit 3 games now lol, was this fix safe?
