Hey guys, sorry for taking so long to reply and thanks for your help so far.
Taking the suggestions that I have received I have modified my build some what.
CPU - Intel Core i7 - 2600k Sandy Bridge 3.4 GHz
Cooler - Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus
H/D - OCZ Vertex 2 OCZSSD3-2VTX120G 3.5" 120GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Ram - 2x 4GB Corsair Vengeance 240 PIN DDR3 1600
M/B - ASUS P8Z68-V LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Video - Asus ENGGTX570 Nvidea
PSU - CORSAIR Professional Series HX650 (CMPSU-650HX) 650W ATX12V v2.2 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS
Case - Corsair Carbide Series 400R Graphite grey and black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case
ODD - ASUS 24X DVD Burner - Bulk Black SATA Model DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS
I toned down the m/b a bit. I really don't think that I will be adding a second video card in there so I didn't think that I needed the SLI support. I don't know too much about mother boards so if you see me running into problems or any big differences between the one here and the one from my original build, please let me know.
I took the suggestion to tone down the case as well. The 400r looks like a great case and I rarely look down at my case to admire it while I am using the computer, lol.
I added in a CPU cooler in there. This is something I need to do right? Unless the CPU's usually come with their own cooler? I didn't have it in there before and nothing was mentioned, but maybe it was just assumed I'd add one in? Let me know.
The hard drive is an SSD now. And the CD drive is just a regular DVD burner.
I am going to go around today to a couple of local stores to get this priced out. I'll report back on what I am quoted.
