They're not mutually exclusive - we'll be playing family games over Christmas, and my children are either side of 30.
Of course, I'll also be keen to put in a bit of time on SWTOR (which my son is planning on getting as well), and if I'm lucky I'll also have Skyrim once I've opened my presents!

Was going to update my password for my account, but apparently if your new password even has like 4 characters the same as your old one they won't allow it.
I think I'm just going to let that account rot.

Like hell, I made mine damn near exactly the same just because all I intended on doing was canceling the account before my free month was up. By 'damn near exactly the same' I mean I added a period at the end of it. lol

Just changed my password and removed my CC info/ended my sub.
I doubt i'll be resubscribing due to this being the second time they allowed something like this to happen. The first time was when the game was launched and accounts were being compromised left and right and a customer pointed out the flaw/fix to them. /sigh.

i got hacked in that first go with them. took them a month to fix it. so i complained to steam and they refunded me. after that, i made a rift specific email account on my domain and used that. don't use that email for anything else. i now do this for all mmos.

My rift account was hacked about 3 or 4 months ago, so I moved it over to my GMail account and tossed in cell phone verification so it never gets hacked again. Â Then this happens. Â Comical.Anyways, I had not logged into the game since March or so and had no intention of logging in again so whatever.

How strange, mine is literally the exact same password as before just with a period at the end. Perhaps your account was confirmed to be compromised so your requirements were stricter?
