"We recently discovered that unauthorized intruders gained access to a Trion Worlds account database.

The database in question contained information including user names, encrypted passwords, dates of birth, email addresses, billing addresses, and the first and last four digits and expiration dates of customer credit cards."

I'm getting closer and closer to sticking to console games only and ruling out any online games.

What does console have to do with whether a game is online or not?

Currently in the MMO unemployment line.
Can I get $15/month for not playing them?

What does it matter? My statement stands, no matter the reason.

I don't play anything on the PC except for online games. If I don't play online games, then I don't play on the PC.

edit: We only have an xbox and wii and we dont go online for any of it. We treat them as traditional consoles. We've never seen or had the need to get the extra fluff/DLC after already paying for a game once.

Pretty soon, even console games will probably require an online connection. The way things are going.

Funny thing is that they dont feel your information has been comprimised, want you to log back in and change your password, and when you subscribe theyll give you something for free.

Personally, I think it is time we started sueing these dumb A-- companies that do not delete our information when we are no longer subscribers.

Indeed. Keep your e-mail, login and password, but everything else should go.
