It is a single player game with moments of group play.
Most of the outpost is spread across multiple servers it seems.

Good for a couple months, then you'l dump it. Doesn't have any kind of lasting appeal like wow.

AWESOME
at the very least i want to play an Empire toon and a Republic toon to max for the stories. surely that is 6 months of gameplay
polished, immersive, and fun. what more do you want?

Casuals might take about 1.5-2 months to 50.

My son and I got it for christmas. Great game as far as I can tell. About what you'd expect I think.

Yesterday , I started my Datacron missions. There is lots of jumping and problem solving. I think this game has a lot of room to grow (e.g. fix bugs and add content) and it will be entertaining for at least 3 to 6 months for me, as is. I like the stories. My class narrative was especially fun on Tatooine. I'm a smuggler. I wont give spoilers. I like having an encyclopedic guild I can consult on Mumbles with questions, in game. It makes all the difference in the world.

Yeah. It's got some good story to it but a lot of things aren't done well. Pvp at it's core, is ok but the warzones and illum are badly implemented.
