The two most important components are always the motherboard and the video card. If you're going to spend extra on anything, those are the two things to max out.

Price would've been 50~ more. There's no real viable reason for someone like me (with only a 22 inch and 19 inch monitor) to have so much memory on a GPU. The performance increase on it would be totally negligible unless I was playing a game at an insanely high resolution

You'll have at least a 27" monitor before you're done using that computer though.

Haha doubtful. My desk isn't that big and personally I don't really like huge monitors. At most I'd probably just get another 22/23" to make the resolutions the same

mobo is kinda weak. Why not get one that supports SLI and run 2 560 ti's? Why grab the one that only does crossfire? Or just use GTX 560 SC (super clocked) with 2 gigs of ddr 5? Mobo is weak sauce. Where is your cpu cooler?

I am not going to run cards in SLi or CrossFire ever again. That's a waste of money unless I was trying only to super tweak my system with even better graphics cards. The performance increase is cheaper to just ebay off my old card and order a new high tier

Going to use the stock heatsink and buy liquid cooling when I decide to overclock later

you can get gtx 560 sc with 2 gigs of ram for like 200 bucks. I found mine at frys I think. Im running dual gtx 560s. But everything I have is OC'ed. I'm running dual monitors, 12 gigs ram, I7 3.2 quad OC to 3.8 (easy OC'ing it can easily handle up to like 4.0-4.2), 6 extra fans and a h70 cooling. I never lag and never heat up.

Resolutions aren't going up though, so monitor size is irrelevant. Matter of fact, it's been going down. From 16:10 to 16:9 on all the new stuff.
