If so, is it just me or is buying during the winter to get a better deal a myth?

You do get a better deal in the winter. I intend to buy between Feb and April.

Maybe, but I've been following Craig's list and others for about a week and I'm pretty unimpressed for what I see for prices. But then again it could be the market area I am in.

winter buying depends on your location.

I guess, I'm in the NYC market area. There is an awful lot of trading going on in the area but man, I see way too many older motorcycles that I not going to bother with. Especially at the prices they are asking.

So I'm looking at this site and it appears to be geared to people who know exactly what they want and then price shop on that. Is that correct?

never never pay for "options" so dont click on them, year and model bear bones Low Retail prices and cut that by 20% ...then the old storie my bank will only loan this much....just a good starting point..then 100 offers to get the feel of things....if new texas or down south seems to be 2k less
