it's seriously messed up - both the president and prime minister of Israel have condemned this group and encouraged people to demonstrate against them in the protests that sprung up among the population.
it's even divided out the more moderate people in the ultra-orthodox sects who have come out and condemned this as well.
zealots suck.

I read this a week ago. Its important to remember that no matter what we've been taught, non-American countries just aren't as tolerant, free, or open as we have come to expect. When visiting or moving to another country, keep that in mind.
