It is so badly optimized it's seriously shocking. Game takes minutes to load zones sometimes, constantly has black-screen graphical glitches, and takes a year to alt-tab because of what I can only assume are memory leaks.

memory leak, UI, and meaningless crafting are huge issues. Add on their PvP system and I really do not see this anything other than a revolving door MMOG.

This really is just a quest driven, solo, RPG with a chat box. Best decision they made was a Christmas /winter release. It does give someone something to fool around with.

You are pretty clearly in the minority. My rig runs any game out there fine, except SWTOR. It takes me 30 seconds to alt tab and sometimes 2+ minutes to load a zone. In game I get 60+fps on the highest settings so it obviously isn't my hardware being too slow to run the game.

Not to mention I can't even quit the game using the in-game interface. If I do it freezes every time. Whenever I want to quit I have to alt-tab, wait 20 seconds, then quit the process through the task manager.

I'm not basing my observations on the forums. Anywhere in game if you ask people many of them have similar issues. Tinkles has the same loading and alt-tabbing issues I do too btw.

You know something is wonky with a game when you can't even exit it without it crashing.

I play SWTOR on an IMac via bootcamp with zero problems.

I've been playing steadily since it went live and I haven't had many problems. None serious. I can alt-tab and zones load quickly. Haven't noticed any problems with memory leaks, even after 12 hour sessions.

Sans the 12 hours sessions, I've had one CTD during peak hours.

There is quite obviously a memory leak issue lurking somewhere in there, as well as a couple other issues. Not everyone gets it but it's quite widespread.
