As is normal you guys have it backwards. When Rush started there was no conservatives on the air. Rush did not tell people what to think, he showed people that was someone who thought like they did. People listen to what they want to hear. They don't listen to be told what to think. Given that now most talk radio is conservative now liberals might be a much smaller group than was thought. You only thought you were a majority because the majority of the news was slanted liberal. That has changed. More and more people are getting the facts.

Liberals are still loud and most of the main stream news and Hollywood is liberal. The colleges are liberal and do their best to suppress conservative ideas; with force if they can get away with it. They do their level best to keep conservatives out so only time will tell if they can change. The liberal leadership (the evil ones) are not stupid. They know how to play people. They understand how to rally the mob.

Sadly liberals will always believe that conservatives don't think and that liberals are very deep in thinkers. It is a lie that only a liberal could believe. Don't worry. The evil liberals will always be there to tell the stupid and ignorant what to think and say. Liberals sound good. Liberals do evil. When people see the results they learn. That is why liberals are mostly the young and ignorant. As people learn they become conservatives; unless they are stupid that is. Ignorance can be cured. Stupid is forever. You will always see liberals trying to shut down and shout down conservatives. They understand that in a fair debate they will lose every time.

Truely ignorant statement. Rush was able to get on the air because the FCC finally figured out that people had more than two choices on what station to listen to, and dropped the reg that kept him off the air. Under the old rules Rush would have be be followed by three hours of liberal rants. The stations could not afford to have three hours where no one wanted to listen.
