Here is one criticism with alts: After lvl 10 you have to stop and listen to quests you have already heard. This is a tremendouse time-waster.

I believe MMOS evolve. They start out all spraggony, with same mobs with just different colors and different names. Then patches start adding different content and building on the game foundation, which is what we are all experiencing in this launch. I remember when just launched games were unplayable mechanically. This launch was pretty seamless.

I think it is premature to opine on a game so quickly. Give it some time. Cabby , if you like the OTG and Rift , you will like SWTOR just as much or better. How about Flashpoints? How about space battles and your own ship? How about a crew to level up crafting. There is a lot done new and original, too. Give it some time. I will at least give this game 6 months myself.

There are lots of problems with TOR, but I am still having fun with it.

I don't like changing MMO's, I played DAoC for nearly 6 years, and LOTRO for a long time as well. But my last two WAR and RIFT have left sour tastes in my mouth. I am hoping Bio will get the bugs killed before they overwhelm me.
